5 Insta-worthy pictures to snap in Paris, France

Paris, like most European cities, is fantastically photogenic. For me, it ranks up there as one of my favourite cities to take photos in no matter what time of year I go {though Spring is extra special}. Every street and every building facade is screaming "HI! I'M GORGEOUS, TAKE A PHOTO OF ME!"

It can be a bit overwhelming. In the few days I was back in the city, I took a breezy 493 photos. That's why I've created this 'gram guide to give you a few starting ideas!

Here are 5 Paris that are ready-made for Instagram!

1. The Eiffel Tower

Were you even in Paris if you didn't have a picnic under the Eiffel Tower? It's quintessentially Paris! Your Insta following is going to need a picture of the iconic landmark in order to confirm that, yes, in fact, you weren't lying when you said you'd been to Paris. Luckily, she's a beaut from every angle!

2. Carousels

There are many carousels around Paris that are perfectly placed for the ultimate Instagram. I have a conspiracy theory that Parisians came together and decided to put every carousel in the ideal spot for a picture just to have photo-happy tourists drooling all day every day! My two favourites are located at the Sacré-Cœur {upper photo} and the Trocadéro across from the Eiffel Tour {lower photo}.

3. Cafe fronts

Is there anything more Parisian than a beautiful cafe front? I don't think so. There are so many gorgeous stops you can make along just about any road for a latte or {more suited to the French} an espresso.

4. Palais Royal

If you follow any major travel blogger, there are very slim odds you haven't seen pictures of the striped stumps at Palais Royal. If you follow any major fashion blogger, the chances of you not having seen these on Instagram is even slimmer. Make sure to stop by and snap a pic on these babies for your own grid!

5. Musee d'Orsay

While photos of the famous clock for those who are not patrons of the restaurant inside Musee d'Orsay is technically prohibited, if you can manage to sneak a snap, it makes for a beautiful photo. And, if you're eating at the restaurant, you can get up close and find the best angle for your silhouette ;)
